Symphony

Juno winner Norman Foote brings kids and families closer to the orchestra with his timeless melodies and beautiful arrangements. He uses his showmanship and humour to lead the audience and symphony along a musical road with beautiful images, spontaneous singing, and hilarity along the way. Norman’s symphony concert repertoire has grown with the addition of new pieces from the 2018 “Everybody Sings” and Juno Award-winning album “Love My New Shirt”. The songlist also includes I'm A Book, If At First, When I Grow Up, Laughing Orchestra, and other Foote classics that lend themselves to symphonic treatment. Renowned pianist, composer, and musical director Bill Sample has created some amazing arrangements for large and smaller orchestras. Norman has been featured in theatres, festivals and with symphony concerts throughout North America. He has received a Juno Award, Parents Choice and NAPPA Gold Awards, and SOCAN’s ‘Songwriter of the Year’. Norman has written music and recorded for Walt Disney Records, Shari Lewis, CBC, Max and Ruby musical, and others.
