Norman’s passion for songwriting, story telling and comedy has taken him to amazing concerts and communities throughout the world. His ability to find ageless melodies and interesting subject matter brings laughter and singing to audiences big and small. He has gathered music awards along the way including a Juno and several WCMA awards. Norman has written and recorded for Disney records, CBC, Shari Lewis, Max and Ruby and others
Music has the power to take us to another place…another time ….move your heart and change your mind.
"My parent's record collection was a big influence on me which included Nat King Cole, Harry Belefonte, Stachmo, Al Jolson, Frank Sinatra, Lena Horne, Sammy Davis Jr and Elvis. I was probably the only five year old that could sing 'Swanee' and 'California Here I Come' note for note in kindergarten."
Both young and old alike had a great time. Several of us laughed so hard we cried. Having no intermission worked well for this performance .

"I want to take a quick moment and express our sincere praise for the musicianship and talents of Norman Foote. We knew from listening to his recordings in the office that we would enjoy his music, but little did we know what a tremendous show he would put on.
I've enclosed a copy of the glowing review for your files. The children in the audience responded immediately to
Norman's comfortable, on-stage performance: they sang along with him from the first song to the very end of the concert.
The adults as well, were equally entertained -- his unique, physical comedy combined with his up-beat music and witty lyrics transcend the ages. Also, Bill Sample is to be highly commended for his wonderful charts.
The musicians of the orchestra certainly didn't keep it a secret that they thoroughly enjoyed this concert. In addition to being fun, the charts are also musically satisfying for the players -- an unexpected reward.
Once again, thanks to Norm, Bill and everyone who helped make this show happen. It's a joy to work with such pleasant professionals, and we look forward to bringing Norman back in the future."
